about

The Grand Tour is an exploratory endeavor engaging the multitude ways in which time ⏤ a fundamental driving force yet an unshakeable riddle ⏤ is felt and known. Four new and recent works for solo percussion are embedded in an arrangement of tracks consisting of natural sounds and sounds of cosmic origins. Pebbles in water, winds of Mars, VLF recordings of the aurora, plasma waves transmuted into sound waves, and sustained metals serve as background sonic radiation from which works by Josh Levine, Christopher Adler, Lewis Nielson, and Daniel Tacke emerge.
